Investigating the properties of metals. Scientist divide all the elements into two groups: Metals and non metals. The properties of metals are:  Shiny, Malleable, ductile, good conductors of heat and electricity, sonorous. 1 . SHINY : Most metals have a shiny look. 2. Malleable: That means you can hammer or press a piece of metal into a different shape without breaking the metal. 3. Ductile: That means metals can be drawn into wires .                 4. Sonorous: This property refers to the ringing sound that metals make when they are hit.                         5.
